Daa Daa & Bella

I spent about 36 hours away from my precious baby. It was hard. I missed her & my hubby very much. It was comforting to know that not only was she in the loving hands of our heavenly Father but also in the very capable hands of her earthly father. I love knowing that they are spending time together getting to know each other on a one to one level. I pictured them in my mind going shopping together at Sam's. Knowing how she loves to see people & interact with them every time we go out. How she draws people to her. My heart smiled when I heard they went on a "date" to McDonald's to share an ice cream. Her dad is truly the "apple of her eye". I love the way she lights up & sequels eveytime her Daa Daa pulls into the driveway. I pray she always feels that way about him. he is truly a wonderful father.

It felt great to feel a taste of that when I got in the car when they picked me up & she saw me & smiled and giggled. What a great homecoming...

This month has also been a month of remembering & thinking back over the last year. The miracle of what God has done in our lives. I feel like I could never thank Him enough for bringing this special baby into our lives & allowing us to be her parents. My heart is so full of joy from having her in our lives. I know that every moment in the future won't be perfect. But, this past year certainly has been for me. Being Bella's Mom has been a dream come true & an answer to many prayers.

I am looking forward to celebrating her 1st Birthday! We ordered her custom made Brown & Pink polka dotted invitations & her embroidered Brown & Pink polka dotted onesie, tutu & bow! Yes, I maybe going a little crazy with it but I am enjoying every second of my babys upcoming celebration. Although, a part of me grieves her growing up. I keep telling her...don't grow up toooo fast!
